It’s over! The experience has reached its end today. A few hours ago, I dropped off oz at the airport. We were both pretty quiet, I’m sure he had a lot of things on his mind. I did too. Honestly, the whole thing has been surreal. It’s been INCREDIBLE getting to know oz. I think back on all the things we were able to do and I am so happy that we had the chance to do them. We really got to know each other well during this week. We spent practically ALL of our time together and we really soaked up the experience to the maximum. We have NO regrets, and that is saying something.
There was talk about me getting inside of oz’s luggage to go back to the UK with him, but we perished the thought upon realizing that the airport people would find a huge carcass inside of the bag when they’d pass me through the x-ray machine. So no, I am in Puerto Rico, while oz should be flying over the Atlantic Ocean, perhaps. I do miss him very much. It’s weird not having him around when we spent so much time together during this past week. But… no worries. We shall be seeing each other soon enough. Manchester in summer. :)
In all honest, I find it really hard to explain the whole experience. I guess you just have to LIVE it because there are very few words to explain it. Oz and I have grown, our friendship has skyrocketed to a whole new level, it is solid.
ANYWAY. I’ve been asked quite frequently the following questions, so I will now engange in a Q and A rant. Or something.
-”How is oz treating you?”
He was very nice to me lol. He called me “retard” on many occasions but that’s fine.
-”How is oz?”
Oz was/is fine. He very much enjoyed the island and had much much fun. Apart from his whining from the heat.
-”What did you guys do?”
Everything, really.
-”Did you have fun??”
OH YES.
-”What is he like?”
Oz is tall, blonde, incredibly funny, smart, playful, charismatic, energetic, and whinny. “The ants are biting me.”/ “I’m drained.”/ “I can’t be bothered.”… =) He is one of the greatest people you will ever meet.
-”Where is he from?”
Chester, UK.
-”Were you scared?”
In the beginning, I was. Didn’t know if he’d like me.
-”Were there any awkward moments?”
Zero. Non. Nada. Nothing. It was as if we’ve known each other from childhood.
-”What did you feed him?”
Fine Puerto Rican cuisine: Big Macs.
-”It must be hard having a relationship like that from so far away, right?”
Yes. But we our friendship is really strong. No more than ever, so distance won’t break it… it’ll just make it that much more special when we DO meet again.
-”What was it like?”
Like meeting a brother.
So yes! if you have any more questions, please feel free lol. You will get more of a feel of us when we post our tv show online. You’ll love it. Just… wait for it. Thank you all for keeping track of us. :)
